Selva joined the pride when Nova first started training for his future leadership. Selva thought Nova was annoying and bullheaded at first, but slowly grew to enjoy the lion's company, finding amusement in some of his curiosity- and confidence-fueled antics. The two became closer over time, often going on walks together and talking for hours, just enjoying each other's company. When Nova stepped up to lead the pride, he took Selva as his mate, and she readily agreed; the pair had become close and were rarely seen apart from each other. Selva is a loyal and supportive mate to Nova. Daring and imaginative, Selva is prone to daydreams and bouts of whimsy. Nevertheless, she is level-headed and firm when she needs to be, and won't back down from an argument; when Nova lets his ego get the best of him, Selva does not hesitate to knock him down a peg or two.
