Pyrrhus had always felt different from the rest of his den-mates, from the way he looked to how he felt about things. He never fit in with the other cubs in the pride for some reason. Whenever he would go to play with the other cubs in the den the mothers would whisper hushed words to each other while glancing sideways back in his direction. Even though it worried him,he pushed the thoughts aside. How would he be a great king if he let some gossip hurt his confidence? He convinced himself that if he trained hard enough he too would be an amazing, confident leader some day.

One foggy morning a stange scent tangled with the scent of the broodmothers. It was another king! Why would another king come to his pride? Was he going to harm his den-mates? Why was he here? Though he had been in "That wich eats the stars" den for a few sun-rises he still didn't quite understand their customs. He quickly groomed his red-and-black coat before he exited the den and walked up to where the three lions where sitting. He hid behind a small rock,perking his ears to hear better."What about that cub? Is he adoptable?" The dark king asked. "Yes,he was found just a few days ago but he should be travel ready now." Eclipse'fall answered. "You can take him before sun-down if thats fine with you,GL00MY." She finished. "You can come out of hiding,___ ." Eclipse'fall purred,her whiskers twitching in amusement. "You will be traveling to GL00MY's pride,to stay with his lionesses." She explained. His fur pricked with excitement. "Why am i leaving ?" He asked suspiciously,glaring at the king. "GL00MY has decided to adopt you." Eclipse'fall replied,licking scraps of leaves off his pelt. "You'll be a great hunter for them, won't you?" The lioness asked. "Of course i will!" He exclaimed. He was going to have to prove his worth to the clan. No matter how hard or terrifying it was, he was going to have to be the best hunter and protector for his new pride.

His journey had finally begun.
