Eightrun

A truly proud lioness, Eightrun rarely cared for family over her work. She mothered her children, of course, but as soon as they could stand on their own four paws that's where they would remain. She was a busy lioness running everything in her own way. Scurrying food to others and hunting relentlessly to provide. The king was a copy of a copy and lazy to boot. Everyone who every looked at the pride knew the real ruler and Eightrun took so much pride in it she would beam at any and every compliment when conducting business. When she would deliver cubs(a rare event) they would usually forsake their mothers naming tradition and leave the pride themselves when grown. A chance for them to live their own lives all but abandoned by their mother and smothered by her if they remained.
