Her story starts in a pride far, far away. There, she was just an ordinary lioness, a failed attempt at hybrid creation. She was put up for trade, many lions from different prides simply passed her on their way, not paying much attention. Until she was approached by Astraea, and to her surprise she was bought by her and brought to the Peaceful Spring. It happened by the end of the King's rule, not long after Astraea was gone and her heir took over. No one was certain where Adromeda came from, but Cassiopeia (as named by Astraea before her departure) didn't have to know that to fall in love with the new King. To her delight, Andromeda felt the same and soon appointed Cassiopeia as her Queen. However, as time passed something changed. The King became more distant from the pride, even from their Queen, and Cassiopeia was left to take charge of the affairs of the Peaceful Spring mostly by herself.


Cassiopeia is a driven lioness, quite positive most of the time. Once she sets her mind to something, she won't rest until it is done. She puts a lot of work on her back, sometimes leaving the Chief Huntress without anything to do, although Sybil isn't afraid to remind her that she is there to help. Cass loves Andromeda dearly, although their current situation isn't the best and she feels like her love is avoiding her for some reason. She doesn't let that deter her from her duties, and she does her best to be the Queen this wonderful pride deserves.


PS: Many have pointed out her physical resemblance to the previous King, Astraea the Star Maiden. Some see it as a coincidence, others view the similarities as a type of sign of good fortune or immense happiness to come.
