In her travels Calypso has defeated many an immortal foe. Vundabar in particular is a long forgotten deity who had the misfortune of standing in her crusade's path, his undying spirit trapped in the body of a hapless cub. The god's presence is made known by the infant's singular, massive eye. He does not age, at least not quickly by Calypso's understanding, and it would be cruel to leave him to his new mortal body's fate. Vundabar is eternally imprisoned in the cushiest, most comfortable way Calypso could manage with an undying caregiver to ensure he stays well-maintained and happy. - Where his single eye used to be blind, Vundabar is now capable of seeing in full color :D Because of this his guardian, Sol, surrounds him with vibrant flowers and fabrics to make up for millennias spent in darkness.
