Ranni began as a project under the alias 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝑺𝒐𝒗. She's had six generations of kings and countless cubs dedicated toward the project. You can find important links related to Ranni in her bio above.

The project first began as a concept with Outbreak Perfected (View "Queen's Project" Cave). I first began record-keeping for my project on 3-28-2023. Originally, A Cimmerian-bomb wasn't supposed to be the project. It was meant to be a contest entry recreation back from an heir design contest in April 2022.. but there was no readily available Cimmerian studs that really spoke to me... so I eventually decided to create my own.

Mara Sov VI was the final Mara to be queened, and was replaced on 3-8-2024 with the first Ranni - nearly a full year after the project started! You can read more about that stage of the project below under "𝑨𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝑹𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒊'𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒓, 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝑺𝒐𝒗:"

Ranni is the product of over a year's worth of breeding totaled to well over 600+ gb under the previous alias of Mara Sov. She has been an incredible project, and I still have great plans for her. Well.. Mara was actually the sire of MANY of them! She's one of the original few Multi-BO Cimmerian Kings/Queens on site, bred explicitly for the purpose of spreading the Cimmerian love.

At the beginning, the few Cimmerian kings that were available were either private, expensive or not available. As mentioned earlier, the project began record-keeping in March 2023 but the purchase of lions for the project began before that.

The first Mara Sov was queened March 22nd, 2023 - so breeding for Mara began before then... which means it's taken almost a whole YEAR to boost the Cimmerian availability to what you see now!
Mara Sov has sired over 35+ Cimmerian-Bomb Kings on-site! WOW!
