Nerada is the first cub in Zaza’s first litter, and looks like a living shadow with her dark coat. (Which is why she’s named after the Vashta Nerada from Doctor Who)
When King Regandi hears that Prince Kanu of the Kalahari Pride is searching for a future Queen, he sends two lionesses from his own pride to fend for the title: Davu and Nerada. One is his daughter and one isn’t, but both are from high ranking families in his pride, and have proven themselves strong hunters. In short, Regandi sent his best.
Nerada is a bit shy, but so is Prince Kanu, and the two end up being fast friends. Nerada rather doubts Kanu will ask her to be Queen, she’s seen him looking at Nör, but she likes him well enough to stay in his pride either way.
And she does stay, for a time. Eventually she gets homesick, and with Kanū’s blessing, both she and Davu return to their birth pride, with adolescent cubs in tow and many fond memories.
First litter:

Second litter:
1. Neve ~ 794223811059 female, chased at age 2.5 with her mate Dawnshine
~Nerada prances over to Grandpaw Wema with a small rat in their jaws. Grandpaw Wema proudly declares Nerada the best hunter in the pride, and his absolute favourite grandcub. 2x
~Nerada prances about with their Grandpaw, head held high. Old Grandpaw Wema is telling everyone how great Nerada is, and what a fantastic pride member they'll be when they grow up.
~Nerada turns her back towards you, lifting her tail up high and twitching it a bit. 4x
~Nerada rolls on her back in front of your paws, inviting you for a gentle tussle. 3x
~Telling you to stay perfectly still, Nerada carefully removes the small piece of bone that has been stuck in your teeth for days. 5x
~Nerada greets you as you approach, and prones herself in front of you, nuzzling your paws.
