Hakika means ‘sure’, she is named for her strong will and desire to succeed. Hakika is Nanda’s first cub in her first litter.
Hakika is very driven lioness; she excels at hunts, is a powerhouse combatant, and is very well respected among the Pride. She earned her facial scars defending a pridemate during a hunt gone wrong, and she wears it with pride.
Late in her life, a handful of years before she’s an elder, she moves to the Kalahari Pride to act as a liaison between King Kanū and her father, King Regandi. She is the perfect for the job: she’s sure of herself without being cocky, and direct without being blunt. She’s as efficient in trade negotiations as she is in a hunting party. Also, she volunteered. Her grandmother was the second Queen of the Kalahari Pride, and she was curious about her family’s origins.
It doesn’t take her long to befriend Tavra, a lioness on the same hunting party as her. The two are very alike; both are warriors as well as hunters and often spar together. Hakika hadn’t thought to find a partner in her lifetime, and when she falls for Tavra, she fall’s hard. When she confesses her feelings (directly, but shakily), she’s ecstatic to find Tavra returns them!
In fact, Tavra’s had a thing for Hakika for a while. The two court and are married very swiftly (even by lion standards) and look forward to a retirement spent in eachother’s arms, raising their upcoming litters together.
First litter:

~Grandpaw Wema pulls Hakika aside to berate them after they misbehaved. You catch bits and pieces of what he says, including "back in my day" and "my mother would have skinned me for that". Never change, old man. 2x
~ Hakika prances over to Grandpaw Wema with a small rat in their jaws. Grandpaw Wema proudly declares Hakika the best hunter in the pride, and his absolute favourite grandcub. 2x
~Hakika sniffles as Grandpaw Wema dusts them off and pushes them back to training. Grandpaw Wema huffs before shouting a bit of encouragement after them.
~Roaring loudly, Hakika walks around practicing her fierce appearance, not really noticing you. 5x
~You nearly jump five feet in the air when a huge spider suddenly appears in your sleeping spot! Luckily, Hakika ran over immediately and threw it out for you. Holy crap. 3x
~You tell Hakika about this standoff you had with three dogs, and she idly wonders why you didn't just kill them all. She states the drooling mongrels fear her deadly claws. 3x
