To everybody else she appears a normal, plain lioness. However to Diablo she appears like a perfect heavenly mother. She helped teach Diablo to love, to care, and most importantly to forgive those lesser fortunate. She was the first lioness in this pride and was Akello's mate for life, she helped him with his temper, his struggles, but most importantly she helped with his fear of the afterlife promising everyone would be safe. Especially his sweet boy Diablo.

Diablo sees 2 spirits constantly following her around a young cub, portrayed by his own younger self, happily playing, being shy, and adoring his new mother with everything in his heart. The second spirit being an older male, his new father Akello standing strong and proud of his small family.

Diablo frequently visits his mother and lays beside her still acting like the vulnerable cub he was when they first met. She adores him and sees past his demon form, the ruthless actions he commits, she hopes some day her sweet boy will return for everyone to see and not just her and Akello. She cherishes him like her own and always lets him know that.

She's motherly often seen looking after all the cubs at once, and yet they always show her the utmost respect. She is loved by all the girls and is held as high as Akello and Diablo although her boys view her as even higher than that. Diablo often feels ashamed of what he's become and wants to change for her but he feels it's too late. In his eyes she will forever be an angel her crystal form presenting how fragile she is to him. She is priceless and he fears the day she will leave this pride.
