Starlight

Starlight earned her name for her mesmerizing appearance: a rich brown coat adorned with striking purple stripes, paired with earthly eyes and frostbitten mane. Unlike the other lions in her pride, Starlight dreamed of becoming one with the stars, seeking a destiny beyond the savannah. From a young age, she was captivated by the night sky, often sneaking away to gaze at the constellations.

As an adolescent, Starlight felt torn between her earthly duties and her celestial aspirations. She grew closer to her mother, who encouraged her dreams, while her father, busy with patrols, remained a distant figure. When the king found a submale to take over his duties, he spent more time with the pride, and Starlight saw this as an opportunity to share her dreams with him. Through their time together, she discovered that her father once had his own dreams of exploration, which he sacrificed for his role as king. This revelation deepened Starlight's resolve to pursue her own path, aiming to unite her love for her pride with her desire to join the stars.
