But when she not only survived but got stronger with time, Cassiopeia, full of hope for her little angel, named her Almasi, which in Swahili means diamond. It was partially due to her white and in places shimmering fur, but also because Cassiopeia and Andromeda believed she would grow up strong like a diamond. They weren't entirely wrong in that regard. As Almasi grew, she wasn't necessarily getting physically stronger, but her character certainly did. Being a Healer was something she chose herself, and is quite happy with it since it combines her two favorite things- studying herbs and helping others. Almasi is in general a very calm and gentle lioness. But don't let that fool you for she is no pushover. It's hard to make her angry or to make her cry, and she won't let others hurt her or get under her skin. She is quite diligent in her work, making sure to never miss a thing, and help even if the situation seems helpless.
