Mars

The young cub was wandering around alone trying to hunt for himself after being kicked out from his former pride male when he reached 1 year of age, his red mane was an eyesore and he got the attention of predators all around but he was so prideful of himself thinking he could keep them away.

Then, he found himself surrounded by hyenas, he tried to fight them with no success, he was wounded on his muzzle, hip and they bit his paws; his arrogant self washed off in that fearful moment and he began crying for help.

Luckily a lioness, quite simple in look and with the fur yellow like sand was able to send away the attackers; he looked at her in admiration as she was staring at him sweetly.

They talked for a while and the nameless adolescent discovered that the lioness name was Shimmer she then brought him to the pride and as soon they arrived Hely noticed him.

Hely observed him attently, the boy was scared but after a while the two warmed up talking and he was playing around with Shimmer daughters and Byan son there the cub realized he found a new home where they were already welcoming him.

After a couple days he got used to the new place and lions, and after a week Hely went back to him asking if he could name him annoyed to the fact he was nameless, the boy obviously and excitedly agreed and from that day he became Mars.

He trained under Hely guidance and with the adolescent lions to become stronger; but one day he came back to discover a devastating news. Shimmer and Byan with their cubs got taken from the humans.

From that day he swore to protect this pride with his life if needed, and to take care of the cubs like Shimmer teached him and to do what she did if he ever met an abandoned cub. Give them a home.
