Upon birth,
Fern and Willow were nearly unrecognizable from eachother. Sadly, their triplet brother had been stillborn; with their mother dying shortly after their birth. The cubs didn't have an easy life, starting out with dead parents.
Willow's childhood wasn't nearly as extreme as Fern's. She didn't have to hunt rabbits, just help "Wenet" out with creating poisonous palms - a solution to the massive rabbit issue. With her newly acquired skills, Willow created baskets, aimed to help both her and Fern with their daily duties. It taught her how to be careful and patient with things, qualities which she appreciated later in life.
Her life truly changed when her sister came back with a stranger - A dark, maned lioness wrapped in rabbit fur. When the two made eye contact, the lioness visibly grimaced. Later introducing herself as
Kodiak, she instantly told the cub to expect her and Fern to be different than other one day, in a way which could be described as quite abnormal. Though Willow didn't understand what the words meant, the lionesses promise of a warm home was too good to pass up. That's how the twins ended up in their new pride, with Kodiak as their new mom.
Due to the pride's issues to tell the twins apart, in the end Kodiak tied flowers of different colours to their paws, so both of the cubs could be easily identified.

When ππππππ let out a shrill scream after spotting a snake near their favourite sunning spot, Grandpaw Lyres was the first to dash over and save the day.
ππππππ pounced a little too hard and managed to land right on your paw, digging their claws directly into your toes. Ouch! Their training sadly failed. (You got a Scar: Anklebiter).
ππππππ got a little flower stuck on the back of her mane. Itβs actually really adorable so you didnβt tell her about it.
