In the vast savannah, a once-majestic pride roamed freely under the reign of King Lyres, a powerful and feared leader. Iara and Vemis, two deity-like entities watched in horror as the King, in a fit of paranoia, turned on his own pride, viciously attacking and slaughtering them one by one, only to later burn their corpses. The once harmonious pride now lay in ruins, their spirits wandering the savannah in eternal unrest. Enraged by King Lyres' heinous actions, Iara and Vemis vowed to seek revenge and bring justice to the fallen lions.

Amongst the chaos, two powerful lion gods, Iara and Vemis, had reincarnated themselves into the midst of the pride's remains in disguise. Iara, Goddess of misfortune, and Vemis, Goddess of the ostracized, had come back to the mortal world with a singular purpose - to put an end to the tyranny of King Lyres.
