i've been told it's hard for people like me the romantic - lauryn marie x ardor / hellebore / rhodonite = nadir after spotting irini push over one of her siblings in the mud, grandpaw theodora pulls her aside and, with pride, tells her she should always take advantage of the weak. irini follows after grandpaw theodora as she goes out on a patrol. irini spots an injured dik dik hiding in the bushes, and with a snarl, grandpaw theodora orders irini to kill it, saying that there is no room for mercy in this life. irini ends up wandering a little too close to grandpaw theodora as she sleeps. grandpaw theodora snarls at irini and aims a swipe at her before she scarpers to the safety of the other side of the den. when irini starts playing a bit too rough, grandpaw theodora harshly swipes at her, eyeing her ferociously. irini whimpers and flees, her tail hiding between her legs. Maybe grandpaw theodora just doesn't like games? irini seems upset that she's lost the race. grandpaw theodora spots her moping around and approaches her. she leans down, and you can see her mouth moving as she murmurs something to irini. she sharply gasps, then asks, "but won't they get hurt?", to which grandpaw theodora chuckles and responds, "of course. but it will teach them not to cross you again, won't it?" you offered a snack to irini, and she took it after sniffing it for a while. then you see her giving a chunk of it to a different pridemate later before eating the rest herself. oooh, so that's how it is?
