Eloquence is an NRLC of the 9.17.21 Fiery RL.
She was born with the special base of her sire (Marigold) which, fittingly, is called Ancestral.
She was also blessed to have by luck inherited his full mane.
She was born with 6 of the 10 marks, and also has correct eyes and skin.
In total she shares 10/15 traits, but unlike most 10/15 NRLCs she has all non-mark features besides base.
Eloquence is special. For some reason as I continue to try and remove myself from the 9.17.21 hemisphere, it keeps finding me. After being on the receiving end of some questionable bully-like behavior in my DMs, in addition to observing how toxic many of the kings/owners had become with studding, the last thing that I wanted was another Fiery NRLC in my pride. I both sold and gave away all of my NRLCs, as well as reported and blocked several prominent accounts related to the RLC. Dually Ive swapped to almost 100% reverse heats, as I also at a broader level do not wish to deal with cubs.
But low and behold, I claimed a chased who, you guessed it, was a Fiery NNRLC (only 5/15), however, she had a rare rosette. I tried to market her and was failing, so I decided to turn to one of the few Fiery associates that I trust—Marigold—for a studding. As it turned out, it was Marigold that had chased her, and I was relieved to know that they were interested to buy her back, however, we had determined that little nugget of knowledge only after the studding, and decided to go ahead and humor whatever came of it, and tend to the trade following.
Then enters Eloquence, a litter of one, packing a serious flex in features that even I, the guy who so wants to be done with cubs and NRLCs (particularly this one), cannot deny or ignore. And here we are.
There are a few good, reliable, trustworthy characters and owners in the Fiery community. I am acquainted with four, half of which are very well-versed in the RLC. If you are here because you have an interest in this RLC, welcome, you’ve found one of the goodies. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me and I will offer you my insight to the best of my knowledge. For now, I will offer you an extremely condensed summary of general current information (May 2024) regarding this RLC and its community:
—There are only ten Fiery RLC site-wide, and half of them are owned by one person.
—There are at least hundreds, maybe thousands, and a good deal of hoarding of these NRLCs, some of which is to be expected but in other cases seems to be verging upon breaking terms of services (ex: extra accounts, merging alliances to reap higher control/monopolize, so on).
—Some Fiery breeders have what I can only describe as “cover up profiles”, like how the mob has cover up businesses. On these accounts, you will find totally unassociated kings and few (IF ANY) lions. I do not know why this is a thing, but it is and it reinforces the above (aka extra accounts).
—If you intend to sell, you can and may get strong-armed or intimidated out of your own sell. You may also find your sell instantly destroyed, for the purpose of keeping numbers low, ergo, profit high.
—Almost all 9.17.21 kings (I think only one or two are true RLCs—most lack base) are for private studding, so not only are your options extremely limited, but there is a high risk and likelihood of inbreeding. Some of these kings may have arrangements amongst each other, I do not know, but I am fortunate to know one of the only ones available publicly, who is a real treasure to work with.

I do not know what is in store for Eloquence, nor for you wandering stranger, but if you’re reading this you will now be proceeding with eyes wide open. One of my Fiery acquaintances (who I actually traded one of my girls to) put it best when I asked her, “how are you finding the community?” Her response: “Im finding that there isn’t one!” A bit cynical, however, a few good actors do exist, and if you continue this journey I recommend that you vet who, and to keep them close. And it if isn’t obvious already, your source for vetting should not be any of the main characters you find in search. As a matter of fact, I recommend to not even use Search, you’ll only get freaked out lol.
