meyra joined the pride as an established adult and rogue, something that immediately made her a target for saoirse's skepticism, not helped by her substantially intimidating figure-- she's full-bodied and powerful, towering easily above any of the other members of the pride, including honeymead herself. her intense and proven loyalty for the pride's safety and unrelenting dedication to handling intruders and passersby, especially lone males, has cemented her importance at near the top of the hierarchy (and somewhat alleviated saoirse's stress, given her unexplained anxiety around male lions in the pridelands in general).

while meyra is a force to be reckoned with, she's also a gentle giant who's fantastic with the pride's cubs and finds significant joy in the small bird she's befriended as a familiar.
