"I was born the Starling." She murmured, peering off to the side as her tassel sways by her ankles. "When they saw me, they said 'oh, ain't she a pretty one?' and made me the Starling on spot." She chuckles, a mrrow rolling off the ends of her laughter. "I was raised with luxury by my side, they say Woman favors me even though I've never even met her." She trails off, her gentle smile faltering. "I feel bad for Woman. The pride's stupidity forces her to be casted out- everyone treats her like some...god! I'm not jealous or anything, I just feel so bad for her." She sighs, pacing off to settle on a nearby rock, you follow. "I don't like the entire Star system. It's like we're objects, but the pride elders reassure me- saying that I'm so lucky, that I am the face of the pride...but it just feels like we're only here to act nice and be some stupid cub's idol. They say the other Star, Princess Verdin, was bribed by the king to be one. I'm pretty sure they're right, Princess Verdin is the king's kin...it's stupid. But I feel bad for Princess Verdin too. It really doesn't seem like she even wanted to be a Star. I think the king forced it upon her to look good." I scowls, sticking out the tip of her tongue before shifting into a comfortable lay. It really seemed like she needed someone to talk to. "I know this is blasphemous and everything, but I hate the king. He's so...out of it, you know? He hasn't killed anyone, sure...but he's evil. I know it! But don't worry. I'll restore the pride's spirit once i'm Star, for once and for all. And I'll get rid of this stupid system!" Her eyes shine.
