A gift from another King as he passed through, Rik was not the strongest of cubs and likely would not have survived the journey to their final destination. She does not recall her original pride. She is rather shy and struggles to form bonds with the other lionesses, despite their efforts, and often hides in the less populated male cave. After the arrival of Joka'babi's chosen cub, Swi'ki, Rik began to come out of her shell, warming to both father and daughter.
