Keeda the Second

Keeda was barely weaned when she has been put in the care of an unknown teen by her rogue mother as she saw the young adult and a group of other youngs heading towards what seemed to be a pride. Her mother disapeared after asking them to take the cub with them.

The youngs that took the cub were in fact returning to their homeland after spending months away in an ally pride, sent there by their King to avoid a disease that hit their land and only reached its end now, thanks to a lioness named Helrae who found a way to manage it..

Even weakened, the pride took the cub in. They had lost many cubs to the illness, and they could not abandon the cub who just has been left by her mom...

Since she had no real name, she has been named as an hommage to Keeda, a huntress of the pride that died of the illness, and who was loved by many. All were certain that the cub too, would be loved.

Keeda has been put in the cares of a lioness named Iarrah.

Everyone ignores that her biological mother lives in a neightbor pride.

She grows up to become a beautiful young adult who cares for her pride as much as she has been cared for. Often surrounded by youngers ones during days as they wait for hunting parties to come back , she likes to tell them stories and even more when it's alongside Kamzia, an older lioness who has a real talent for it. The cubs are always amazed by the stories the two come to make up together, and Keeda loves to see them with stars in their eyes..

She is almost always accompanied by a small bird, a black-lored waxbill she saved when she still was a teenager, and wich she named Cloud. The duo sometimes patrol alone within the territory at night to be sure everything is at its right place.

Keeda isn't experimented enough to join guards at the borders but she's fine with it. She likes her peaceful night walks as they are, those walks were she can openly tell her confident about her fears, her doubts, and her dreams.
