Apple Pie 💲

𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐮𝐛

Apple Pie and Apple Sugar had been the closest out of the triplets. It’s not like they didn’t like Apple Crumble, they loved her! But she wasn’t like them. Apple Pie and her favourite triplet often relaxed upon the outskirts of the cave, watching the sun rise and set.

Until Apple Sugar was given to the gorillas. She had pleaded with her father, telling him that he should give Apple Crumble away instead - that simply earned a snarl from her mother. And so, with a heavy heart, she had to let her sister go.

𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭

Apple Pie had always been the skilled one out of the triplets - well..twins now. Sure, she was lacking in some aspects but she was still good! Not good enough for her father though, he’d purposefully set her up during training. It seemed whenever ApplePie failed it made Apple Crumble look better whether she failed or passed.

Then, when they turned 1yr, 3 months, her father informed her that she wouldn’t follow the other lionesses for hunting. Oh, how she wished she could strangle that monster of a father.


He explained she was suited to take after her mother as a brood mother despite the fact that everyone knew how Apple Pie hated cubs.

That night, instead of sleeping with the other lionesses, she padded off to sleep with her brother, Twilight. Out of everyone, he knew how she felt. Her father didn’t even bother to hide his disgust for both Twilight and his mother.
