Biography
Name: Short for "Rhododendron" (like the flower)

[Rhodie seemed to accept defeat today—although, they began to spread some nasty rumors about the victor…]
[After Rhodie failed in training today, you spot their sire, Grandpaw 𝐄𝐯𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡, whispering to them in the shade. They part ways as soon as Grandpaw 𝐄𝐯𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡 realises you're watching, and Rhodie is suddenly all ready to try again.]

08/07/24 Gave birth to a 1st gen Jaglion, the only cub in their very first litter—good job, sweetheart!!

Lore:
They've always hated being the centre of attention, much preferring to do their own thing and generally be unbothered by their pridemates. When their very first litter consists of a single hybrid cub, Rhododendron is suddenly subjected to a lot of attention from the rest of the almost hundred-strong pride, which makes them deeply uncomfortable. Within days of their unusual firstborn's arrival, Rhodie starts leaving them in the paws of a Broodmother so that they can spend some time alone. Unfortunately, this backfires when many of the lionesses who have, or have had, cubs of their own condemn Rhodie's lack of care towards their newborn, seemingly forgetting the fact that this is their first litter and first-time dams are known to sometimes be rather skittish. Overwhelmed by the negative attention—along with the scrutiny they received for mating with a non-lion animal to begin with—Rhododendron isolates themself even further, disappearing for days at a time while their cub is nursed, groomed, and played with by other lionesses. By the time the little hybrid is weaned, they only see their dam around once a week. The knowledge that Rhodie doesn't want to be around them instills a sense of insecurity in the cub, which is made worse by the stares and comments they receive from the rest of the pride.
