Reyna II

The cub is born in a great ally pride ruled by queen Vontezza. At the time if her birth however, her mother wasn´t able to produce milk. There were other nursing lionesses in the pride, but none of their cubs was close to the newborn in term of age, and the lionesses´ milk wasn´t adapted. Not for long.

Aeleasi, her mother, sent a birth to Helrae´s pride (which still was ruled by late and regretted King Kveth) in search for help. Fortunately, a litter of cubs was born only few days before her daughter! None of her cubs had survived, and while she still was grieving, Lulmeh agreed to come to Vontezza ´s lands in order to provide milk for the newborb cub.

Reyna has been named after the great grand mother of the lioness who fed her. Aeleasi thought it would be a good way of thanking her and her family. And, fate had made it even funnier, since Reyna the second was born with a similar mutation than the lioness she took her name after..

The cub grew up to be healthy, loved by both her bio mother and her nursing mother. To Reyna, the two of them are her moms, and she deeply loves them.

She still was a cub when a consequent number of youngs and teens came from Lulmeh´s lands in order to seek shelter. Apparently, there was a disease spreading in the pride and the neighbor ones. Youngs were sent here to stay safe from it. Reyna got to meet some of the youngs and made friends among them.

Some months passed and news arrived concerning the sickness. It was now under control, and those who had fled could safely come back to their lands.

As the group was ready to leave, Reyna saw the concern about her homelands on her second mother´s face. She knew Lulmeh would choose to go back too, as she still had family there... And didn´t know if they made it. Have they been sick? Were they healed?

With Aeleasi ´s approval, Reyna voluntered to accompagny the group and her substitute mother. Despite her young age, she was sure she coukd be of help when it would be time to rebuild what had been destroyed.
