Queen Desdemona

Poor young Desdemona was scarred, starving and losing hope in her old pride when King Nyxle happened upon her, once his worried questions were answered he promised that he would return to her soon. She'd honestly not expected anything, thinking it empty words for a dying girl... But then a few hours later as dawn broke King Nyxle returned saying he'd gained permission to take her home now, she has barely believed it but he really did carefully lead her to her new home and gave her a meal ahead of the rest of his pride to ensure she could begin to recover. She's now began her training alongside the other adolescents of the pride, she's really beginning to have hope she'll get to have a good life now! Though she does find herself a bit more quiet than most the pride, often retreating to King Nyxle's side regardless of who or how many Lions he's with or laying in a thorned patch when she wants to rest alone even though the cute little Shrikes follow and perch on her all the time. (Honestly based on reality. She was starving and very unhappy when I found her for sale, I was low on sb so panic gathered until I had just enough I could buy her! 😆)
