Biography
The second male lion to ever be blessed with eternal youth, Seer Macaque, became very attached to his broodmother whilst being raised. Seer Midnight, the pride’s grouchy spirit emissary, noticed his intrigue with her work, and, knowing she was aging and needed to pass these skills to another, took the young lion under wing to teach him all he needed to know about communing with spirit. Soon, Macaque became a proficient seer and assisted Midnight with her ceremonies and rituals whenever he could, up until the day she passed and he inherited, not only her brash personality, but also her skills and abilities to peacefully commune with the dead. On very important occasions, the spirit of Midnight herself would visit her former apprentice for an emotional reunion. Due to her personality, Seer Midnight unknowingly rubbed it off onto Macaque and he became a bold, confident lion, though with a bit of a snarky edge to him. Despite his occasional standoffish attitude, Macaque took his role seriously and aimed to use his skills to help his pride mates make peace with death and meet their old friends and family.
