Little Eri was born and raised in a loving, yet full pride. Her first memories have her hidden below her mother, scared of all the cubs and teens running around the cave, chasing each other of another little animals like gerbils. No matter how much she tried, at the end she always felt left out due to the lack of interest in the activities that engaged others.

Because of the constant competition and difficulty to connect with the members of her past pride, Eri missed the opportunity to properly train as a hunter. She wasn't good with babies either, so her place in her father's territory was unclear; she didn't have a special something nor an ability, not even the greatest of looks when she looked in the lake.

A month before turning two, her father informed to her that she was leaving his pride; for a moment Eri's heart went heavy, until she was told it was in order to serve another king. The next morning she was woken up and instructed to follow him before the sunrise, and just before the Sun shone brightfully she met Karion, along with his 3 submales: Dust, Rey and Spike.

The kings chit-chatted a little until it was time to say goodbye; her father pawed her head twice and nodded once, wishing her luck in her new home. Karion spoke a little with his subordinates, until Dust, the eldest, smiled and signaled with his head to follow him; her anxiety flourished again seeing the amount of lionesses, but was soon calmed noticing there weren't any cubs around. The other felines explained to her that there were three caves, and the one they were in was only for lionesses that weren't pregnant or nursing; being that she only had a month left before turning to an adult, Karion decided to put her in "The Hive", as they called it because of a joke.

Even though Eri still had issues socializing, she found herself to be comfortable around Goldy Locks, a beautiful girl whose kind nature made her feel at home. She even got her something to do: she was in charge of taking care of all the beetle pets they had, since they were an important part of the pride, yet not very taken into account by others.

Future was still scary to Eri, but it wasn't as bad as she had predicted now that life had given her a chance to start again.
