07.05.2024 Footnote:Give Dun A Chance! :bio: Gaara glanced at Eydis and smiled back, taking a few steps back and digging his nose into the sand periodically as he wrote a message for her, ‘thank you’ A simple thanks before he bowed and closed his eyes, paying respect to the spirit. Finally standing to his full height once again, before he glanced around the cave. Seeing all the lions playing, eating, sleeping, and enjoying their time. Gaara looked towards the top of the cave where the odd light source was. Speaking once more to Eydis’s companion, “I would like to take a cub.” Gaara’s sentence was cut short as he let out a loud roar, an unsuspected attack from a little cub, pulling at his tail. Gaara turned towards the cub and gently played with her a little more until he was eventually lying down on the sand, playing and entertaining the others. It wasn’t until Gaara recalled why he was in the forest in the first place. He told some of the cubs it was time for him to go and he slowly stood tall once more. Gaara was set on one cub, but seeing as she played so well with another. He couldn’t help but feel a sense of guilt if he were to take that away from her. He knew this cave held unwanted and abandoned cubs,adols,and adults. He thought for a few more seconds before looking back up towards Eydis’s companion, “Would it be okay to take two cubs? My broodmothers will watch over them until they are big and strong, I can provide land and safe cub training, I will never let my pride go hungry. But most importantly, I will definitely be the father they want me to be. Everything from the bare minimum and more. They will never be alone, not even my final breathe will stop me from caring for my pride beyond the land of the living.” He spoke with such strength and determination as a father. Before taking a breather to calm his heart, Gaara blinked in realization that he might not even be allowed to take them back to his pride. He smiled softly and cleared his throat, speaking calmly once again, “of course.
