You were quietly stalking a lizard for fun...when suddenly, Welkin charged in and tore up everything trying to catch it! Well, that was still entertaining, at least.

You see Grandpaw Thistlechaser running around, excitedly playing with Welkin. The two of them seem to be having great fun, but how did he get Welkin exhausted so easily? You decide you'll need to ask for some advice from Grandpaw Thistlechaser later on today. *4
Welkin wants to race Grandpaw Thistlechaser, and dashes away for a head start. Grandpaw Thistlechaser pretends to try hard to catch Welkin, but lets them win by a nose. *2
You see Welkin playing tag with Grandpaw Thistlechaser. Aww, look at those two go! ... Wow, did Grandpaw Thistlechaser actually manage to exhaust a full-energy cub this fast? ... And now it looks like he's trying to race with a cheetah. You shake your head. Seems like some things never change, no matter how old he gets.
Instead of relaxing today like Grandpaw Thistlechaser had promised you, you spot him running circles around Welkin, taunting his grandcub every time they almost get him. *4

Stalking after a lizard while balancing on a precarious log perhaps wasn't the best idea, but Welkin succeeded in getting a lizard snack! +6% training experience!
Welkin took a shortcut through a dark, scary cave while he was chasing you down. He gave you a mini heart attack when he lept on your back from out of nowhere! *2
