After the death of his father, Toro left the pride temporarily to avoid being placed in any position of power. He didn't like Mace, and he didn't think the other lions enjoyed his presence. Upon hearing Crow passed on, Toro returned to not take his place, but to try and fix the pride that his father and his friend loved so deeply. Toro is spread out in a dark corner, brooding intently.
