Mittens was born without claws, do to her not being able to hunt she was kept in this pride to help tend to the injured and hurt. She was like the therapist of the pride, she had talked to almost everyone here but the Task force, do to their distant nature the hybrids didn't talk about their problems with the pride that much. She didn't mind though but she was there to help them throughout them being here.

Though there was one thing that Bean and Fanta told her that she swore not to tell the pride, Safi'jiiva and Xeno'jiiva was coming back when Ghost, Price, Gaz, and Soap heads back to their world. She never met these two but she has heard wonderful stories about them, how they formed this pride and how they helped other lions and their prides.

One day Mittens was seen trying to hunt, without having claws the lioness that seen her turned to Chill bones Ghosts daughter who was eyesless and clawless. Chill bones was a wonderful hunter in this pride so Mittens took lessons from her. Months of lessons she finally managed to take down a gazelle, she was excited to say the least.

Both her and Chill bones are often found hunting or even relaxing near the river side since that was a place they both enjoyed. They could feel the water under their paws, it felt amazing. It made her wonder what clouds felt like.
