Lotus was an unwanted cub from the beginning, after he had reached maturity he was put out across the prides, and it was there that he was claimed by a Primal king named Druin.. he was skeptical of the intimidating male, but seeing that he had no other options and his family was kind of forcing him, he had left his birth pride and joined with the primal's pride.. he was actually pleasantly surprised when he was granted to be the next heir, a sleeping spot reserved for him in the warmest cave and good training. He often saw another subordinate male, much older by years, talking to the cubs in the adoption cave about his stories from seasons ago. After about a month, he had his name changed to Lotus. He hadn't minded it really, since that flower was one of his favorites, and the pride was full of lotus flowers, he was actually quite excited really. He had hit what could potentially be the best possible thing to have happened to him as a runt, and an unwanted cub. He was certain that he would get a few changes, as all subordinate kings do, though he wasn't sure how much of him would truly change though.
