Mountainpaw

Nothing would calm down the wailing Mountainkit until they were passed to Grandpaw Uwezo's paws. The old lion smothers Mountainkit with his mane until they start giggling.

When Mountainkit darts to Grandpaw Uwezo with a small rodent in their jaws, Grandpaw Uwezo tells them how wonderfully they'd done, and says they'll make an excellent hunter in the future.

You see Grandpaw Uwezo giving some heartfelt advice to Mountainkit about how to treat the lionesses properly. The cub was listening well enough, which relieves you. In your opinion, they could definitely use some work on that subject!

Mountainkit wanted to play "Lion, Lion, Hyena!" with their siblings today, but they were pushed out of the group and teased for being a little crycub. You were about to go over and see if they were okay when Grandpaw Uwezo arrived, telling the little cub not to mind the others too much, and that he would be happy to play instead. Brightening up immediately, Mountainkit clambers up onto the great lion's back and the two go off to play elsewhere, while Grandpaw Uwezo tells an interesting story about meeting a lion called Apedemak... or was that Apollyon?
