Roulette was found on the outskirts of Jinx's territory, starving and heavily pregnant. Taking pity on the old lioness, Jinx allowed her into the dens, where she was quickly accepted. During the next full moon, Roulette was to give birth to a single cub. This cub, Casino as she was dubbed, grew with the others no one saw anything wrong with her. As she approached her first birthday, Jinx noticed her smaller stature. Casino was often alone not playing with the others instead preferring to rest on the tops of the acacias. Concerned for the development of the young cub Jinx sought out her Roulette who shamefully admitted she'd been kicked out of her previous pride for having an affair with a jaguar, Casino was a hybrid. Even long after the passing of Jinx, Roulette, and her daughter are still welcome in the pride and reside under the watchful gaze of Solstice. Roulette will remain in the pride her entire life before retiring to the dynasty.
