Adelaide

୨⎯ 𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐄 ⎯୧
𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝟬𝟳/𝟭𝟴/𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

Adelaide was different from the other cubs in the
pride. She was a hybrid, a mix of a jaguar and a
lioness, which made her stand out with her unique
brown fur covered in beautiful rosettes. But despite
her stunning appearance, Adelaide struggled with
trust issues because she was constantly being
looked at differently by the other cubs.

The pride's leader, Bhutan, was a powerful and
sometimes cruel lion, but he had a soft spot for young
Adelaide. Despite not being her biological father,
Bhutan treated Adelaide like his own, calling her
his "little star" and making her feel special.

Adelaide would often play on her own, watching the
other cubs from a distance, unsure if she could trust
them. She longed to be accepted and included, but
she couldn't shake the feeling of being an outsider.

One day, a group of older cubs started teasing Adelaide,
calling her names and making fun of her hybrid heritage.
Adelaide felt hurt and alone, unsure of who to turn to for
comfort. But just as she was about to give up hope,
Bhutan came to her rescue.

He roared loudly, silencing the bullies and standing beside
Adelaide protectively. With a stern gaze, he warned them to
never disrespect his "little star" again. The older cubs backed
off, realizing they had crossed a line.

From that day on, Adelaide felt a newfound sense of
belonging within the pride. She began to trust the other
cubs more, knowing that Bhutan had her back no matter
what. And as she grew older, she understood that being
different was what made her special, and she embraced
her hybrid heritage with pride.

Adelaide may have faced struggles and insecurities, but
with the love and protection of Bhutan, she blossomed
into a confident and strong member of the pride, proving
that being different is a gift to be celebrated.
