Divine Promise

The cubs, along with Divine Promise, were playing and making noise near the sleeping spot of Grandpaw ˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Astarion⸝ ˚｡⋆ ✶ and ended up disturbing his nap time. He roared at them to get lost, then went back to his nap, grumbling about how he behaved much better than they did when he was their age. They should take a lesson from him.

Grandpaw ˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Astarion⸝ ˚｡⋆ ✶ was tolerating Divine Promise climbing all over him, until they pushed a tiny piece of his mane out of place. As Grandpaw ˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Astarion⸝ ˚｡⋆ ✶ yells about "insubordination", Divine Promise zips past you as fast as they can, eager to escape their Grandpaw's wrath.

Divine Promise is eagerly talking to Grandpaw ˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Astarion⸝ ˚｡⋆ ✶, asking him for advice on how to be respected by others. Grandpaw ˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Astarion⸝ ˚｡⋆ ✶ proudly tells them how he made everyone respect him by regaling the cub with some exaggerated "amazing adventure" from when he was younger. Yeah, right, old man! You were there when that all happened, and it's not even close to how it really went down. Not wanting to break the cub's enamoured concentration, though, you simply turn and trot off, leaving Grandpaw ˚₊· ͟͟͞➳❥ Astarion⸝ ˚｡⋆ ✶ to puff up his ego with false tales.

As you prepare to patrol your territory, you notice Divine Promise spending some quality time with Grandpaw {:}Loki{:}. How nice. "Uh... where do cubs come from? Well... you see, little one, when two lions love each other very much, or like each other enough, or hate each other--" Wait, what?! You quickly snatch Divine Promise by the scruff of their neck and run away. They are too young to have "The Talk"!
