*Vistor greeting/interaction* BioSenja is the seventh lioness to join Vesper's pride.
Adult: {7 years, 5 months old} - Senja had given birth to two cubs this season, one of them being her first male. She thought he was very striking and reminiscent of his father, which meant he had a good chance of staying. Maybe even making Heir and replacing Condor. She didn't have high hopes for her daughter, finding her a bit plain. Senja would have been disappointed this season if it weren't for her son. She could tell Vesper had high expectations when he sauntered up to her nest and she'd never admit it, but she was a bit nervous of what he would think of her litter. He greeted her with his usual clean lick on the forehead before looking over their cubs. It didn't take long; in fact the sheer quickness of the whole thing was like a slap in the face, before she heard the words. "I'm taking both, Senja." She stared at her King, utterly surprised. "What of the male?" She urged. He shook his head in response. "He has no place here." Senja huffed, insulted.
"You've kept 3 cubs so far, that's far more than most lionesses in the pride."
"You're still getting rid of my cubs." Senja snapped back.
"And there will be plenty more seasons to come."
His words did little to soothe her spite. She glared at Condor as he trotted up beside the King, cast a glance her way, and picked up her daughter. Vesper grabbed her son and dipped his head to her before he left. Senja was left feeling empty, but she didn't get a chance to dwell on it long, before the cubs she was assigned to demand her attention. Their mother needed a break which meant she was on cub duty. Not that she wasn't always on cub duty, even when she didn't have cubs to tend too. That was just how hardworking and dedicated Senja was.
{7 years, 6 months old} - {Became Lead Mother}
{9 years, 2 months old} - Senja meticulously groomed her newborn daughter's fur from any sign of her birth. She looked just like Senja, her marking a bit more bold than her own, but nearly the same nonetheless. She knew it was bad luck to hope or expect anything from a litter, but Senja felt like she already knew her King's decision. How could he not choose to keep a cub that looked just like his Queen? Senja enjoyed her time off while she waited for Vesper, not having the opportunity for a break since she accepted her title as Lead Mother. She ensured that both her and her daughter were perfect before Vesper walked into the cavern. When their eyes met, her chin tilted with poise and pride. Her King greeted her warmly when he reached her and then settled his gaze on their daughter. She expected compliments and adoration at the life she gave them, but his words came like a smack to the face.
"I'll be taking her, Senja."
She stared at him, shocked.
"I know you understand."
She swallowed her surprise, realizing she was probably making the oddest of faces. "Of course," she replied, quickly recovering her composure and pushing her betrayal deep, deep down.
"Good." He nodded his approval "I expect you back on your duties immediately, you are too important to spend it on doing nothing."
Nothing? Senja thought, the word struck her like venom.
He grabbed their daughter's tiny body in his jaws and left her feeling awfully bitter. Even the Lead Huntress got a day to herself each time she was left cubless. Senja couldn't help but think 'too important' was just an excuse for his obvious favoritism. The thought left her even more bitter. What made the scar riddled lioness better than her? Nothing. Senja confirmed. Nothing.

~ Senja closes her eyes with nose up high when you praise her last bunny pouncing session. It was obviously amazing. {6 years, 4 months}
You settle down to groom Senja, and she seems very pleased. At least she did. You accidentally slobbered a bit too much and she stalked off with a disgusted noise. Shoot. 8 years, 2 months
