One body meant to be two. Two hearts meant to fuel their own desires. Two minds destined to work together and yet apart forever fused together. This is the fate of Orion and Eleanor. Twin God and Goddess of the Sum and Moon. The powers behind the celestial wonders. One who guides the moon into place and keeps gentle watch over the night. The other the force behind the solar winds and would rather be anywhere else. Doing anything else.

It takes seconds to put the sun in place. There is so much movement and life in the Heavenly realm. Comets to chase and send after meteors. Stars to play with. Planets that can spin you around and send you flying. Smaller stars you can flash in the night sky and make the mortals wonder what it means. This is what Eleanor prefers. Millenia attached to her brother at the hip and she craves that freedom to just play.

But Orion respects his duties. Every night the moon is in place. Every morning he reminds his twin to position the sun. This is a lot in life that cannot be removed, so why fight it? It will do nothing and too much can be impacted if they do not fulfill their roles. So it is simply easier to be the Moon God as he was intended to be.

This occasionally causes rifts between the twins when duty and play collide. Eleanor has had to find other outlets for her playful desires, and her favorite prank is eclipses. When the moon is at it's highest and her brother's ever watchful gaze waivers, she moves the planets. Covers the moon for just a few minutes to cause just a little chaos. It gets her fussed at, but she doesn't mind. Because it means something exciting happened for the first time in ages.

Though if you focus only on the pranks...focus only on the reminders of sacred duties...one might forget they are, at their hearts, still twins. Polar opposites in power and personality, but twins are two parts of a whole. Two halves of a soul. Orion, for all his calm, is the one gently pulling his sister into his side when her heart breaks from being trapped and that desire to run free is killed the moment she remembers they are fused as one. Eleanor is the first to flick her brother with their tail on calm nights when he gets lost in the eternity of their lives. Both stand together again comets or cosmic forces that put their sun and moon in danger. Apart, they would be strong. Together?

They are unstoppable.
