𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁

Meet 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 , the young, newly crowned Queen of the Pride.
Some would say it was fate that꧁Mirage꧂ and 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 met, some would call it coincidence and others would say it was a narrowly averted disaster that could have been the downfall of the pride.
The sky was ablaze when ꧁Mirage꧂ met the young lioness for the first time. For her part, it was love at first sight - something that could not exactly be said of 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁. The young lioness didn't exactly jump at ꧁Mirage꧂'s advances, rather the opposite. So the young queen resorted to her last resort - bribery. With the help of a few gold beetles, she finally convinced the young lioness to follow her to her pride and be examined by the healers - after all, her back, paws and tail were on fire! Perplexed, the young 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 looked at her until she burst out laughing. ꧁Mirage꧂ didn't understand anything until 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 calmed down and explained that the fire couldn't harm her. She had already been born with it and it had also been the reason why she had been chased off by her previous pride. A look of sadness came over the young lioness's face and ꧁Mirage꧂ quickly tried to cheer her up. "No one will chase you away here. I promise," she assured the young lioness and gently rubbed her head against hers. Somewhat reluctantly, 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 nodded and returned ꧁Mirage꧂'s tender gesture.
When the two arrived at the pride, the next surprise followed immediately. ꧁Mirage꧂ entered the den and immediately all attention was focused on the two lionesses. A little overwhelmed, 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 hid behind the larger lioness. She stood proudly in front of her pride. "Okay everyone. This is..." She faltered, then turned to 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 with a wry smile. "Um... what's your name anyway?" 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 couldn't suppress a slight smile. "𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 ", she replied and ꧁Mirage꧂ turned back to the surrounding lionesses and lions. "This is 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁. She's part of the pride from today and..." Again the queen hesitated before turning to 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 again, an almost shy and embarrassed expression on her face. "and... my queen...?" she asked shyly. 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓷𝓲𝔁 couldn't believe her ears. But only seconds later, she pressed her forehead to ꧁Mirage꧂'s and nodded. This huge, fearsome and yet so gentle and kind lioness was the first to accept her. "Yes." she said softly and from then on was ꧁Mirage꧂'s queen.
