Lionel
Son of Solana
BioNewborn : Lionel is the second cub born to Kiran. He was birthed at night in the beginning of the Dry Season.
{Kiran nuzzled Lionel with his muzzle, inhaling his scent. He didn't know if this tiny cub would be his heir or a defender, but Kiran was proud of the little lump of fur. He settled beside Solana and groomed her as she rested.}
Young Cub: Lionel takes being the oldest cubs in Mother's Den very seriously. He ensures all the younger cubs are looked after when they play and is always teaching them to be patient. He likes to create games that help them with that and helps them work together. His littermate, Kazi is really good at showing how they can play kindly even when they are competing. Lionel was going to be a defender when he grew up, so he needed to start helping the pride now if he was going to be worthy of the honor.
Cub: Lionel liked training, but he definitely wasn't the best at it. Where his Kazi learned his father's lessons with ease, he struggled to simply get the basics down. He completely failed at wrestling, which was a bit embarrassing, but he would keep practicing until he was exceptional. Anything less wouldn't be acceptable for a Defender. Lionel didn't get pouncing down either and he was glad he wasn't tasked with the duty to hunt. He was also glad that his sister was skilled in all the areas hunters needed to be. As long as he had her around, he would be fed, and for that he was thankful. What Lionel was good at was stalking and climbing. He liked those lessons, because he was able to take them slow and steady and he was rewarded greatly. He hoped to use those skill to keep the pride safe.
Adolescent: It was almost time. Within a month, Lionel would be the first male to be bestowed with the honor of being a pride Defender. He had been looking forward to the moment since he was a young cub, ever since his father told him about the responsibilities males had within the pride. He had done everything he could to prepare himself for the title and to be deemed worthy of such a title. His father would eventually choose an heir, but Lionel wasn't striving to be his successor. He was happy simply serving his pride and hoped he could do just that for many years to come.
Adult: {2 years old} (To his surprise, Kiran announces Lionel as the heir. I want to include Kazi congratulating him and saying goodbye afterwards. )

~☼ You were enjoying the soft sound of birds. Then, Lionel proudly sauntered up, farted, and then died laughing. They think it's far funnier than you do. Cubs.

~☼ You go to get a drink of water and find Lionel holding still, using his shadow to attract fish for easy catching. Nice.
{ 4 years old}
~☼ A flock of tiny birds are playing and pouncing all over Lionel. He is just remaining where he is, humming softly and letting them go at it.

~☼ You come upon Lionel gently snoozing despite a few intrepid young monkeys trying to get a rise out of him by chattering and throwing twigs.
