Aeneas is Rhea’s second cub in her third litter, her sixth child overall. He is close friends with Prince Matu, and even travels with him to the allied Hidden Vally Pride on a diplomatic mission. The mission goes well…in fact, beyond well. Matumaini becomes good friends with the newly crowned King Oäkmane, and Aeneas FINALLY has the courage to admit his feelings to his friend. Matu returns Aeneas’s affections, and they return to the Kalahari Pride as boyfriends. No betrothal, no ultimatums, just seeing where it goes. When Matūmaini is crowned, Aeneas becomes the first official Duke of the Kalahari (Duchess of the Kalahari is title given to mates of the king.). He declines Matu’s offer to rule together as kings, he has no interest in that. Also, it is best to leave Matu unmarried in case a beneficial political betrothal comes along. So, the two are very loving partners, and that is all. ~You look for Aeneas to greet him, and finally find him near the borders of your territory, growling rhythmically into the wind. ~You come out of your den to find weird markings drawn all over in the dirt. What is Aeneas up to? Is this modern art? 2x ~Aeneas seems to be collecting rocks. Hmmm... maybe you should bring him back a pretty one if you see any?
