Kumeza

~Introduction dialogue~

This albino lioness doesn't rise to greet you when you enter her private resting place, apparently the stash or horde of the king, where both the freshest and rotting carcasses await in the sun. The mane resting on her head could've fooled you into thinking she was a male, but this is clearly a strategy; she must be trying to mimic the actual maned Achromia lioness that shares the Pride Den. She has everything that she needs there before her--food, safety, companionship. Maybe she's just making sure you're not here to fight or steal from her. Few know thieving quite like Kumeza, but it's clear from the lack of hyenas around here just where all this prey comes from. If there's ever a "professional scavenger" in these lands, it's her, be it from wild prey or stolen livestock.

A cub born from a wild lioness that had bred with an event stud during August, "Kumeza" is the Swahili word for devour, partially earned by her eye color and her selfish hunting strategy. During August, when she was born, her mother ingrained a fierce sense of paranoia regarding food, shelter and overall safety in abundance. She therefore grew up weaned on stolen meat and tested her claws in everything from the hides of elephants and rhinos to the slyest jackal and sharp-eyed vulture. Humans and their dogs provided an additional challenge, but she was cunning and wise, aiming to teach all these hard-earned lessons to her children so they didn't have to fear life like she did.
