Spotted Shadow

This litter brought a small surprise: a cub that is different to normal lion cubs. Upon questioning - in fear of being chased or killed - the lioness admits to a mating with an escaped jaguar when she was in heat... The cub is a hybrid! What will you do now!?

The cub was luckily of interest to Dark Shadow. Rather than immediately punishing the lioness, she is allowed to live and raise the cub until weened. The same day of the cub’s weening though, Dark Shadow murders the lioness in front of the cub.

To the surprise of Dark Shadow, the cub has no real reaction to the murder. She just starts following the king around. Dark Shadow attempted to ignore the cub and it worked for a time. The cub followed her, watched her, and learned from her. She excelled in training and seemed to live to please Dark Shadow.

It’s unclear exactly when her name was given, but the lions of the pride started to call her Spotted Shadow teasingly at some point. It referenced her pelt and the way she would shadow their king day and night. Dark Shadow, who had taken a liking to the viscous little freak, made the name official as an honor. No other lion in the pride was allowed the secondary name Shadow before this jaglion.

In her first heat, she produced a Jaglion and two AMPs, passing Phantom Rosette on to two of them.

In her second heat, she produced a male Jaglion who she passed Phantom Rosette on to.

In her third heat she produced no Jaglion, but produced an Achromia with Phantom Rosette and a Slender Piebald.
