Ibada

~Introduction dialogue~

The strongest Chief Huntress in this pride wanders between humans skulls near the pit of bones so big, you can see much of the territory in all directions if you crawl up on an elephant's vertebrae. The lioness bares her teeth slightly, her lips twitching so you can see her irritation, but most of her face is covered by the hood; her ears turn to listen to you, recognizing that you're not a member of this pride. She seems able to smell your intent, for she's not even threatened by you, but bored. It doesn't matter what you've come here for because she's not available for breeding, and yet...there's something off about her. She's covered in cracks of ember and ash, blood trailing her paws, jaws and tail. The adornments she shows off screams of danger. And then...you see it.

A half-eaten, decayed lioness, one that was formerly claimed by the king but failed to be sold at the trading center, left here as an offering to this female for her demonic practices. That must have been where the blood came from, acting as a sacrifice! She smells like lingering death, even if she didn't actually kill anyone. All the same, you'd better leave before she decides to test those claw extensions in your flesh--they don't look like they're just made for show.

A claimed, posed lioness from the wild, "Ibada" is the Swahili word for cultist, which was her original role before ever joining the pride. An exceptionally cunning female and considered one of the most dangerous ever seen since Mjuvi's original life, Ibada's goal was to succeed in any area where Lunga may have failed or at least didn't approach; the demonic aspect of the pride interested her, so she sought to sow evil where she could and purge weakness. Whether it was a sickly prey animal or a common cub born without mutation, she wanted an all-out "semi-extinction" brought about by overhunting and mass murder of fellow lions, wherever possible. She was wise enough to prevent actual war between Ghadhabu and other pride leaders, but she still longed for the mass destructive power that came with humanity--or demons, if nothing else...
