Lore: Ether and Marmella are the two broodmothers of the pride, they are the prime Queens of all the girls. Placing second only to whoever is requiring Jaden's current attention. The broodmother of the pride is an equivalent of a warrior cats medicine cat plus the leader & deputy- whichever has been working longer most of the time. The broodmothers are highly spiritual and due to the pattern between birth of piebald/patches and low fertility they started to believe that those markings are sacred. When a lioness or two had miscarriages and miraculously had a larger amount of mutated cubs their belief was strengthened.
