The den seems so bright yet dim. She is unsure. There a strange lion approaching, He she corrects herself. Her mother is talking to him, the mother- Blood of Mountains seems unsure even afraid of this lion. Why is she afraid? What will happen to her family.. she does not know, she can feel darkness taking over her vision. She awakes once more, the king- her mother says has came to them both her and her sister. Yet he only took her- she cried out for her mother but her mom could only turn a cold shoulder to her. She didn't understand, what will happen to her now? The king, they call him. She learned through the murmur of older cubs that he was their father, but she was not of his. She was known as a 'broken' names given to cubs who mother slept with another. Some mutters that her mother was crazy to do such a thing, other weep that her mother might be harmed. She doesn't know what will happen. She has much trouble the first days away from her mother, crying out for her warm nest and comforting scent. Other days she would be quiet. She wishes she had anyone yet she was stuck in a smaller cave, darker then her mother's, and the 'King' kept coming inside to check on her. Whatever that meant.
