Biography
Akechi let out a heavy sigh as she settled down beside Ravi, who was absentmindedly clawing at the bark of a withered tree. "Ravi, you came here for Wendelle, the nomad seeking shelter, correct?” Akechi inquired, tucking her tail beneath her paws.

The young lion glanced at Akechi with a hint of impertinence and nodded, indicating that she should continue.

“Could you guide Wendelle to the north— “ Ravi abruptly interrupted Akechi.

Shaking his head vigorously, he growled, “No.” Akechi blinked in surprise. “I’m staying.”

Akechi nervously flicked her tail. “Are you sure? The conditions here aren’t... pleasant.” She gestured towards the arid surroundings, deprived of rain.

“Yes. And besides, I believe there is— how should I explain it? This isn’t a usual drought.” Akechi perked up, shifting her attention from the tiny snail crawling on her neck. “There will be an omen coming.”

“Is that so?”

Ravi nodded gravely. “Soon.” His youthful eyes held a depth of knowledge that caused Akechi to relent.

With a subtle bow of resignation, the lioness rose and made her way off.
