His mother did not wait until he reached adolescence to tell him that his father was not the dragon lion. And this was because she saw no need to hide it, and because of the obvious fact that the markings on Corinthio's coat are different from hers and Micail's.
He never verbalized his thoughts, but for a while he thought that Micail was weak because of it, since lions in general are not tolerant of outside males, and sometimes not even of their own children. However, as he grew older, he began to understand how Micail thought and acted, and developed great respect for the older lion.
He was offered the opportunity to stay with the pride, and he didn't have to think too hard to decide that he would accept the opportunity. He doesn't usually say it out loud, but he loves his mother, and being able to stay close to her and help protect her is a more than positive thing for Corínthio.
