Biography
Ok…Sapphic is kind of funny in her own quiet way. The pain of relocating so suddenly hasn’t entirely gone away yet, but Sapphic Pride is the Pride my cubs were born into, even if it’s not the pride they should’ve been raised in. Sundance is sweet, and the huntresses—crass as they are—have their heads in the right place at least. Holy Lord Lion/Lioness in hell I almost died. To be fair, I did better than Tempest, and this was her name hunt, so… She did earn her name btw—Tempestmind, which…yeah, that tracks. Who tries to down a buffalo on their Name Hunt; even the seasoned hunters have difficulty with them—they’re literally called the black death—for a reason! We ended up having to save eachother when he broke our hold and trampled the huntresses helping separate him before they could grab him him. She…she actually led him away from us and trap him. As much as I admire her bravery, I think I’ll try for a nice kudu, or a waterbuck maybe; nothing so massive and strong seven lionesses end up getting their asses kicked before they even manage to put a dent in him. I’VE EARNED MY NAME!!!! Sequoia…she even honored the first pride that took me in by giving me Egostep’s suffix. Personally I think I like Solarstep better than having Ego in my name, but a few new huntresses have tried teasing about it—and gotten cuffed;) My first…my first litter I can’t wait to see what they grow up into I…I’ve made the top hunting party! Honestly I’d been wondering why Sequoia was having me train so many girls…guess now I know
