Uplifted soil gathers in clumps around the affected area, like a massive worm had slithered into Mountain dweller territory. That wouldn't be too far from the truth; atleast it /had/ been. Nearer to the "Mountain" the slithered markings became paw prints, scales fading into fur and giving way to more mammalian features like ears, muzzle, eyes.. oh wait, not eyes. The lion's face was blank, surrounded by the bones of their rattling crown as they made their way up Mother Mountain, desert wanderer scent clinging to their fur like fleas.
Despite their blindness they navigated easily over the tumbling stones of the mountain, careful not to uncover the scales of the deity underneath. They climbed up with the precision of a Mountain wanderer, like they had been here before.
