Darling was part of a failed project from her former pride, she was send to be killed by the cave guard the day she turned a year old. That changed though when a strange lion and lioness came to the lost and found, the lioness had gathered up her and her siblings as she told stories about her missions and past.

Darling stared up at the lioness in awe as she listened to the stories, she couldn't believe that she had done stuff that dangerous. After what seemed like a hour she was the only one still there listening to the lioness rant about random stuff, she had even scooted closer to her which resulted in the lioness putting her paw on her head and ruffling her small mane.

The lioness told her to stay put as she walked away, tilting her head she watched the three older lions talk. It seemed like that strange male lion was pissed about something but he stayed calm, she looked at the two in awe with a large smile on her muzzle. She was called over by the lioness so she listed to, she was immediately picked up and placed on the males back. Confused she jumped on the lioness back before they said their byes and left.

She was nursed to health as most of her wounds were caused by the other cubs or stuff she had found when she tried rubbing away from the cave. She had learned her now mother's name and her grandpa's name Chill bones and Ghost, she loved them and she lived the name one of her uncle's gave her Darling...

After she was taken into this pride and Task force she was smothered with attention and gifts like the other cubs in the pride. She felt loved and wanted here, she loved it here...
